The Task: Word processing

Assignment:

Individually, create a short, 2 paragraph word processor document, save it to disk, save it again as a Web Page, open it in Netscape or Internet Explorer and print it from Netscape or Internet Explorer.

Topic: (Teacher's Choice)

Allotted time: 60 minutes

Instructions:

Open a new document and create a short, 2 paragraph Word document about _________

Use a size 12, Arial font for the body of the text.

Add a size 16, Times New Roman, centered title.

Highlight the first paragraph in italics and the second in bold.

Justify your name to the right, at the end of the document.

Save the document to the diskette using your name (ex. bsmith1 ) as the name of the file.

Again save it to diskette as a Web Page with the same name.

Open Netscape or Internet Explorer and then open the file you just saved to diskette and print it.

Hand in the sheet of paper.
