FOLLOW-UP ACTIVITY: |

CLASS MANAGEMENT: Computer lab/classroom. With 15 computers in the lab, only half the class can work on their card at a time. While some students are selecting a graphic for their card he others can prepare a short message. After 10 minutes or so, reverse roles. |
|
SUGGESTIONS AND COMMENTS: Adapt this activity to your grade level. More writing can be expected from grade 6 students. Give examples of typical Valentine messages: "Roses are red, violets are blue...". Prepare students by showing students some examples of puns often used for Valentine’s Day cards, e.g. BEE my valentine, as well as those shown on this site: "Be my dear"... |
