PRE-ACTIVITIES: Teacher gives definition (randomly) of the various idioms presented.

 

ACTIVITIES: Students search and look for the equivalent. There are approximately 60 idioms.

 

CLOSURE: Students illustrate their idioms.

FEEDBACK/EVALUATION:

Written production evaluation. 

FOLLOW-UP ACTIVITY:

Hand half the class the definitions, the other half the idiomatic expression.

Students walk around the classroom trying to find their match.

 

CLASS MANAGEMENT: Computer lab.: 15 computers. 15 pairs. Each pair has 4 idioms and their definitions to look up.
